Samy Ameziane's unique act covers the complicated relationship between France and America. He learned about the ins and outs of international relations while shooting hoops at UConn with teammates who have gone on to work in the NBA. After graduating with an MBA and doing slam poetry, he decided to try his hand at comedy. Ameziane earned his nickname "the count of the ghetto" because his French friends were making fun of the way he dressed. Turns out, the name actually stuck.
